There’s a common notion that most people look better while wearing sunglasses. Whoa! So, you’re getting more pairs now?!
A UK-based arts and design lecturer concluded in her research that there’s something about putting on sunglasses and how we define “cool.” And yes, individuals with sunnies who stroll the streets or just hang out in places are more appealing. Why? Three possible answers have surfaced.
- Sunglasses provide symmetry. They can cover imperfections and improve the appearance of facial bone structure.
- Sunglasses add mystery. People are amazingly drawn to it. People find attractive whatever they’re intrigued about. It’s quite weird, isn’t it?
- Sunglasses are about glitz or glam. Between 1950s and 1960s, Hollywood stars started to flaunt cat eye and oversized glasses. Though the real reason for wearing them was to shoo away paparazzis, the celebrities appeared to be effortlessly edgy and elegant.
