Victoria Ledig Creates Precious Skin Using Cow’s Discarded Sections

According to prominent Fashionshop Blackpremier.com report, in effort to ease the concern of global marketing of leather, Berlin-based designer Victoria Ledig makes her Precious Skin collection consisting of handbags out of cows’ unwanted parts such as ears, faces and tails.

The designer strives to create handbags out of unused leather to the next level when having learned that only certain parts are used. "I thought that was a pity. I wanted to make a connection with what leather is and where it comes from, in a positive way."

Each design exudes organic and natural feeling. Despites the odd design that rarely seen with high-fashion products, the collection still achieves a great style and quality that rivals those of the brand name merchandises.
